About Us:

In January 2020 my wife took a routine trip to our neighborhood store with our (at the time) one-year-old son. As she was leaving she noticed that she was being followed and immediately called me. Thankfully I was close enough to get to my family in time to escort them to her vehicle and identify the assailant. Unfortunately, if anything were to have escalated, there was nothing I could have done if that person had a weapon because I was without a firearm. From that moment forward I pledged that I would protect my family inside and outside of our home. In starting to develop my home and personal defense plans I noticed that a lot of people in the African-American community are not aware of the things they need in order to responsibly and legally own a gun. Urban Defense Solutions now exists to help educate and equip people of color, specifically African-Americans, to make owning a firearm normalized and accessible through safe, professional and culturally relevant training programs. We provide a fully vertically integrated one-stop-shop for the community that includes but is not limited to the legal purchase and successful training with firearms and other means for the community to feel protected and safe.
